Complaining is a waste of energy

“Complaining is a waste of energy and time. Don’t be upset by the results you didn’t get from the work you didn’t do” – Jim Kwik

Once again, we have a test in front of us. All of us. As with any test, there may be some anxiety or stress. Definitely some temptation to complain. But when was the last time complaining did anything productive for anyone?

The answer is that it didn’t do a damn thing. And that the only thing you can do is to get real, and get to work. I can give you a thousand examples of “no results from no work” in fitness, but also outside of it. It applies to everything.

Either way, putting in the work is the unglamorous part that everyone overlooks. It’s like the middle child, but turns out they’re the glue to the family. Since we know there’s a test, an obstacle, a challenge, we can prepare and own it. That’s it. You solve one problem and you move on to the next. And you if you solve enough problems, you pass the test.

Simple. Block out the noise.
