“The more you do it, the more you do it, the more you don’t, the more you don’t.” – Kelly Ripa
This is the simplest of quotes but can mean so much and can be applied to anything, really. Anything you want.
Remember back a month ago when resolutions were popular? And motivation was at an all time high. By now, statistically, at least half of people have stopped working towards their new year’s resolutions. And the ones that are left are the ones that figured out some sort of discipline.
Once you’re into it, it’s much easier to stay at it, but if you’re not, it seems like the biggest chore with tons of negativity surrounding it. Which is why it can seem so difficult to get back into working out after not for whatever reason, for example.
They say it takes about a month for a new habit to take. So keeping with working out as our example, you need to find a way to own up to your shitty excuses or whatever is holding you back, and put in the time to develop the consistency that creates lasting habits you desire.
Because talk is cheap.
