The Toughest Person at Our Gym – 03.24.21

If I ask you who the “toughest” person in the gym is, what would you say?

Throughout the years I have been asked how to develop this trait over most, because people can easily see the utility in other areas of their life. You have an opportunity tomorrow and Friday to measure your toughness.

Maxing out goes well beyond lifting the weight & provides you a time lapse of your commitment, your character, your discipline, and your heart over the last 3 months.

Maxing out brings emotions that even the craziest Tuesday won’t and this is the beautiful part of what we do, certainly not something to be avoided. This is how to train your mind.

Toughness is dominating our own emotions & fears. Tough people have control of their mindset in any situation.

Some of the toughest people I met in the military didn’t look like much physically but they couldn’t be broke mentally.

When I watch you guys compete, and do challenges, or workout with other people or other gyms etc., I admire how you maintain a standard of toughness that is clearly different.

To finish the week and the cycle I want to maximize each training time block to the fucking max. During max outs I look to see the level of your focus, and what your mentality is like.

The best days are when the focus and energy is high! Come in with the correct focus and the mindset that we started the cycle with and ready to face the challenge in front of you.

This is your opportunity to step up!

Lets have each other’s backs and be supportive and encouraging like I have seen so many times before.
