Adversity was maybe an understatement. The hard part was intentionally put in the second half. Typically, we don’t do monotonous things on purpose, but occasionally it can be a great revealer.
What we look for most, are those that step up and tap in to something more, something buried. It can go very well or very poorly in the face of something like this.
That’s what Sisu is all about.
Identifying the point at which you usually break, owning up to that, then proceeding to go above and beyond. All of us set limits on ourselves, and this revealed that.
The odds were stacked up against us all, however, only few decided to turn barriers into frontiers. Some would describe Sisu as intestinal fortitude, that you have guts.
Do you have the guts to go to a place you’ve never been before? For the sake of growth, but for the price of pain…not many are. But those that do, have no limits.
