Everything is temporary. Today was a great example of that. By design, today’s training was intended for you to go max effort for a short period of time. It should have made you feel shitty, make you want to quit or feel sorry for yourself. Because pushing through that limit you put on yourself doesn’t feel good.

But by being a disciplined mofo and doing so, brings you to a new level. And if that was accomplished, nice job you did today correctly. If not, then shame on me for not getting through to you.

Something to always keep in mind when doing tough shit, is that it’s temporary. And by being in that moment, facing it and fully accepting the challenge, you create this new alternative person.

A person that focuses only on the task at hand and nothing else. Something that I will personally strive to help you all improve on this 12 weeks. 

The body can train the mind, the mind can train the body. Learning tricks and cues to do both is a never ending practice of discovering (Sisu).

I look at working out as a tool to utilize how to learn more about myself. With all the parallels between gym and life, why not right? It’s just another opportunity to get more real with yourself.
