I’m on vacation. I’m quite buzzed. Whilst I’m my whirlwind of thoughts, I decided to have a Cuban cigar because, why the hell not? This lead me to think of Michael Jordan and his love of cigars and how if I were to hang out with him it would be over a cigar rather than a game of 1:1.
He’s said many quotes in his time of reign, but maybe none more powerful than, “I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying.”
Everyone fails at shit. Failure is completely self imposed.
Trying is completely self imposed. Success is completely self imposed. I’ve learned that failure is a piece of success, but there’s no success without trying. If you don’t try, you cannot succeed.
If you don’t fail, you cannot learn. If you don’t learn, you cannot say you’ve tried. If you learn and are unsuccessful, then you’ve successfully failed. Therefore, a failure is a success. Don’t stop trying
