Your mind is your most powerful weapon. Either you can let it own you, or you own it. To own it, you must train it. Treat it like any other muscle.
It can be conditioned. With practice, it can be strengthened. With complacency, it can weaken.
The greatest mind training comes when it’s placed in great hardships. Seizing those shitty times and finding a way to strengthen your thought process to stay in control is what will condition that mind.
Recognizing the moment that your initial reaction sets in, processing if it’s warranted, and even if it is or isn’t, knowing the actions for the outcome you desire.
You want to give up when shit gets hard? Fine. Then get used to not improving or risk moving backwards. You want to take the easy way out? Fine. Then you won’t learn to grow.
You want to complain, be dramatic or pump your ego? Fine. Then get used to mediocrity, because no one cares.
For most of us, we get the opportunity to train our bodies once a day. For all of us, we get the opportunity to train our minds countless times every single day.
As the occasion arises, which it does often, what are you going to do? Will you take the easy way? Or decide to get to work?
Develop that mind! DAILY. We ALL can do more than we think. But it starts at the top.
