Mind Control?? – 04.27.21

It’s said that 2000-3000 thoughts cross our mind every hour…unreal. That means that every single day, tens of thousands of thoughts will pass by.

Some, just for a second, others for several seconds. But the thing about thoughts is that you can control them. You don’t have to let them own you.

It’s a weird concept but it’s a practice. It’s all too easy to fall into the trap of having thoughts consume you. And it can be a slippery slope to that rabbit hole of self doubt, loathing and victim mentality.

Practicing mindset and thought control is a muscle that should be flexed even moreso than working out. A powerful mind can unlock potential in you that you never thought existed.

I’ve found that the best way to get your practice started, is by pausing, and be in the moment as fuck with whatever it is you are doing. Especially if that is something difficult. Sounds almost like brief meditation. Which is another great way to get started.

Centering yourself around a mindset beforehand can make the experience completely different. Take getting in a ice bath, for example. You already know your breath will be taken from you. You know it’s fuckin cold. You know it’s temporary. So you get in, and you breathe, and you control the thoughts that cross your mind. If it’s constantly, “I’m cold and I wanna get out”, then you’ll be in and out in no time.

Or, you can sharpen your mind.
