Last week, we lost John Madden. He was a legend of football, and loved by all who know the game. Throughout his career as coach, then broadcaster, he had immense success.
But he’d be the first to tell you that it doesn’t happen overnight. He was quoted saying: “Don’t worry about the horse being blind, just load the wagon.”
I take that as jumping in head first. That sometimes, the best thing to do is impulsively take that risk, because if you don’t, you may never make a move.
We’ve got a new year ahead of us. Now, while we’re not fans or believers in waiting until a new year to make a change, we are in favor of taking any action towards what you want, at any time.
No doubt that some sort of a plan is better than none, but what is undeniable is taking advantage of any channeled energy you have and putting it towards something constructive.
Sure, you might not have every single detail accounted for, but you’ll learn along the way.
A new year is cool because it makes us realize we want to be better in some way. The irony is that we have always held the power no matter what month it may be.
